In the later news update on the ensuing Michael Douglas cancer report, the veteran actor’s wife has revealed her being “furious” with the doctors who were unable to detect the disease in time. Did that make his condition worse? According to Catherine Zeta Jona, her husband’s chance of survival would have been greatly improved has the doctors begun treatment sooner.
In an interview with People magazine, the Hollywood star reveals that she is “furious” with the doctors who failed to detect Michael Douglas’ throat cancer earlier.
Douglas was diagnosed with throat cancer about three week ago. He has completed his first week of a two-month course of radiation and chemotherapy. The star of the Wall Street says that he remains hopeful with the 80% recovery possibility projected by his doctors.
Zeta Jones went on to reveal that their two children were told about Michael Douglas’ cancer by their father itself.
It was only earlier this week, that the actor told US talk show hos David Letterman that a biopsy has revealed that he had stage four cancer, which means that the disease is spreading.
